Derek Entenmann, known internationally as UberDerek, creates original abstract, watercolor, geometric and large-scale tattoo work from his home base at Hive Tattoo Studio in Salzburg.

My work begins with the person rather than a catalogue of finished designs. A memory, photograph, piece of architecture, symbol, texture or half-formed idea can become the beginning of an original tattoo composition.
I combine abstraction, watercolor and painterly marks, geometric structure, sketchwork, blackwork and contemporary-art influences depending on what the project needs.
The tattoo is built around the body it will live on rather than copied from somebody else's tattoo.
