These Terms of Service apply to use of the UberDerek website, tattoo project request forms, consultation requests, appointment communications and related services provided by Derek Entenmann, also known as UberDerek.
By using this website or submitting a project request, you agree to these terms.
2. Tattoo Project Requests
Submission of a tattoo project request does not guarantee acceptance, availability or an appointment.
Projects may be selected based on artistic fit, placement, scale, scheduling, location and other practical considerations.
3. Consultations
A consultation is intended to discuss project direction, placement, approximate size, timing and suitability.
A consultation does not necessarily include a completed tattoo design or guarantee that a project will be accepted.
4. Appointments and Deposits
An appointment is not considered confirmed until all required booking steps have been completed, including any required deposit.
Deposit amounts, cancellation rules, rescheduling rules and other appointment-specific terms will be communicated before booking is finalized.
5. Design and Artistic Control
UberDerek specializes in original custom tattoo work.
Reference images may be used to establish direction, mood or subject matter, but existing tattoos are not intended to be copied directly.
Final design decisions may take into account body placement, anatomy, scale, longevity, readability and artistic composition.
6. Design Timing
Custom tattoo designs may be developed close to the appointment date or finalized during the appointment process.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, submitting a project request does not entitle a client to receive a finished design in advance.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and informing the artist of anything relevant to safe tattooing or appointment planning.
Clients must comply with studio rules, identification requirements and any consent procedures required at the appointment location.
8. Age Requirements
Tattoo services are subject to applicable age restrictions and local laws in the location where the tattoo is performed.
Valid identification may be required before tattooing.
9. Travel and Convention Appointments
Travel and convention dates are subject to change due to event schedules, travel disruption, illness, venue changes or circumstances outside reasonable control.
If a travel or convention appointment must be changed, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate available options.
10. Pricing
Tattoo pricing may vary depending on project scale, complexity, placement, required time, location, event circumstances and number of sessions.
Any estimate provided before the appointment is an estimate unless specifically stated otherwise.
11. Results and Healing
Tattoo appearance and healing can vary from person to person.
Clients are responsible for following aftercare instructions and seeking appropriate professional medical care if they have concerns about healing.
12. Photography and Portfolio Use
Tattoo work may be photographed for portfolio, website, social media or promotional use, subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements.
Where appropriate, clients may discuss privacy concerns before photography or publication.
13. Website Content
Artwork, photographs, text, branding and other original material on this website remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced or commercially reused without permission.
14. Third-Party Services
This website may use third-party services for forms, scheduling, messaging, analytics, advertising and other business functions.
Use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
