I use those fragments as the beginning of a conversation, then build an original composition around the person, the anatomy and the way the artwork moves with the body.
References are a beginning, not a blueprint.

I personally look at the concept, references, placement, scale and whether it fits the work I want to create in Stockholm.

If the project is a good fit, we discuss the direction and reserve the appropriate appointment.
We Create It in Stockholm
The final composition is built for the body and becomes something that could not exist in exactly the same way on somebody else.

I'm selecting a limited number of projects for Stockholm Ink Bash. Bold one-day tattoos, larger project starts and ideas suited to my visual language are especially welcome.

Send the idea, placement, approximate size, preferred day, budget and any reference images that help explain the direction.
I will personally review the remaining Stockholm projects and get back to you quickly.

Do I need to know exactly what tattoo I want?
No. A rough concept, memory, visual reference or direction is enough to begin. Developing the artwork is part of the process.
Can we start a larger project in Stockholm?
Yes. Larger projects can begin during the convention and continue during a future session if necessary.
What kinds of tattoos are the best fit?
Abstract, painterly, watercolor, geometric, sketch-based and unconventional projects that leave room for original interpretation.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on size, placement and the scope of the project. Include your planned budget in the application so we can determine what makes sense.
How do I secure the appointment?
Once the project is accepted and a time is agreed, a deposit secures the appointment.
